As the countdown to Christmas begins, the energy starts to shift. There’s excitement, joy… and if we’re honest, a little bit of chaos too.
For many women, this time of year can feel overwhelming. We try to make it perfect for everyone — remembering every detail, every gift, every event — but often, we end up on the other side of the holidays feeling exhausted, frazzled, and deflated.

This year, I’m doing it differently — and I want to help you do the same.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing small, powerful ways to protect your energy, set loving boundaries, and find calm in the busyness. Because personal growth doesn’t have to stop just because life gets busy — in fact, it’s in these moments we need it most.
Why We Burn Out at Christmas
When we over-give, over-plan, or overthink, we disconnect from ourselves.
We say yes when we mean no.
We keep going even when our bodies are telling us to rest.
And we measure our worth by how much we do — not how we feel.
The result? Low energy. Irritability. Guilt.
That sense of “I should be enjoying this… why am I so tired?”
How to Shift It
That’s where my APP shift approach comes in — a simple tool I use (and teach in my coaching and yoga practice) to bring awareness back to the present moment:
✨ A – Awareness: notice what’s really happening — your thoughts, emotions, or energy.
✨ P – Pause: take a breath before reacting or saying yes automatically.
✨ P – Presence: bring yourself back to now.
This is how we start to move from overwhelm to ease — from doing it all to being it all.
Over the Next Few Weeks
I’ll be sharing weekly inspiration and simple practices you can weave into your days to help you stay grounded and centred through the festive season, including:
✨ Gentle yoga moves for calming the nervous system
✨ Breathwork to reset and recharge
✨ Tools for recognising when you’re doing too much or people-pleasing
✨ How to set healthy, guilt-free boundaries
✨ Tips for protecting your energy and creating mindful moments
Because you deserve to feel calm, connected, and confident — not just survive Christmas, but thrive through it.
