Connection, Self-Love & Coming Back To Ourselves

Over the last few weeks, I've had the privilege of holding space in yoga classes, workshops, coaching sessions and wellness consultations with some truly wonderful humans.
And despite everyone being at different stages of their journey, one thing keeps showing up.
We're craving connection.
Connection to ourselves.
Connection to our bodies.
Connection to our breath.
Connection to other people.
In a world that constantly asks us to do more, achieve more and be more, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves.
We become busy looking after everyone else, ticking off the to-do list and keeping all the plates spinning.
And somewhere amongst all of that, we forget to check in.
How am I really feeling?
What do I need right now?
When was the last time I did something purely for me?
This is why I love the work I do.
Whether it's through yoga, coaching, workshops or wellness consultations, it all comes back to helping people reconnect with themselves.
One of the highlights of the past few weeks was our Self Love Sanctuary event.
What a beautiful morning it was.
A room full of women who chose themselves for a few precious hours.
Together we explored self-love, awareness and the stories we tell ourselves every day.
The inner chatter.
The self-doubt.
The guilt.
The pressure.
The expectations we carry.
We spoke about how easy it is to lose ourselves in our many roles and responsibilities, forgetting that underneath them all is still you — a human being who deserves love, compassion and care too.
What resonated most throughout the morning was how many of us experience similar struggles.
The feeling of not being enough.
The feeling of needing to do more before we can rest.
The feeling that everyone else has it figured out, whilst we're quietly battling our own doubts.

When we begin speaking openly about these things, something beautiful happens.
We realise we're not alone.
The room was filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, movement, reflection and yes, a few tears too.
Not tears of sadness.
Tears of release.
The kind that come when we've been carrying something for too long and finally allow ourselves to put it down.
We moved through heart-opening yoga, softened into stillness through sound healing and Reiki, shared conversations over tea and simply gave ourselves permission to be.
No fixing.
No striving.
No proving.
Just being.
Moments like these remind me how powerful it is when people come together in a safe space and allow themselves to be seen.
Another beautiful reminder of connection came through Yoga by the Lake.
Surrounded by nature, sunshine and wonderful people, it was one of those moments where everything felt simple.
Just people gathering to move, breathe and be present.
The energy was incredible, and I honestly can't wait to do it all again on 27th June.
Alongside the events, I've continued working closely with my coaching clients, and this never fails to inspire me.
Watching someone move from self-doubt to self-belief, from overwhelm to clarity, and from constantly questioning themselves to trusting themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
The transformation doesn't happen because they become a different person.
It happens because they begin to remember who they are beneath the conditioning, expectations and limiting beliefs they've carried for years.
They start trusting themselves again.
And slowly, everything begins to shift.
I've also been supporting clients through my Lifestyle & Skin Wellness Consultations.
This work combines over 30 years in the skin and beauty industry with my passion for holistic wellbeing.
Because our skin often tells a bigger story.
Stress, sleep, hormones, nutrition, hydration and lifestyle all play a role.
Sometimes the answer isn't another product.
Sometimes it's understanding the bigger picture and supporting the whole person.
If there's one thing I've been reminded of recently, it's this:
You don't need to wait until you're burnt out to prioritise yourself.
You don't need permission to rest.
And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out before you start looking after yourself.
Whether it's joining a yoga class, booking a coaching session, taking a mindful walk or simply pausing for five conscious breaths, every small act of self-care matters.
Because when we reconnect with ourselves, everything else begins to feel a little lighter.
Thank you for being here.
Whether you've attended a class, joined an event, worked with me through coaching, visited Serenity, or you've only recently joined my community, I'm so grateful you're here.
And if you're feeling called to reconnect with yourself a little more deeply, I'd love to support you.
Through yoga.
Through coaching.
Through workshops.
Or through a Lifestyle & Skin Wellness Consultation.
Because you deserve more than simply getting through life.
You deserve to feel connected, energised and aligned with the person you truly are.
With love & warmth,
Karrie x
